Our commitment.
VA Hiring Circle wants its website and services to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities.
We aim to design and maintain the website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our working standard. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time claim.
What we work to support.
Our website work includes attention to:
- keyboard navigation;
- visible focus states;
- clear heading structure and page landmarks;
- readable contrast and type sizes;
- descriptive link text and alternative text where needed;
- forms and controls with clear labels;
- reduced-motion preferences;
- layouts that remain usable when text is enlarged; and
- responsive use across desktop and mobile devices.
Third-party services.
Some links open services we do not control, including Google Calendar and third-party provider websites. Their accessibility may differ from ours. If an external booking service creates a barrier, book any available consultation slot and note the barrier in the booking notes — we will offer a reasonable alternative way to make an inquiry or arrange a consultation.
Need help or found a barrier?
If you have difficulty using the website, need content in another format, or want to report an accessibility problem, book any available consultation slot at https://calendar.app.google/VddipMe5ncjZd3v99 and describe the problem in the booking notes.
Please include the page URL, a short description of the problem, and the assistive technology and browser you used if you are comfortable sharing them. We will review the request and aim to respond within 10 business days.
Ongoing review.
We will review accessibility as the website changes and prioritize fixes based on their effect on access. This statement will be updated when our standard, contact route, or review status changes.
